Greetings Ye Seekers of Truth and Understanding,
These "Private Postings" are supplemental to all of the other Light Mission endeavors to distribute information to Help in the Unfolding of Inner Awareness -- The Awakening. I hope that you find them helpful and interesting. Dwell on them WithIN and See what Realizations Unfold.

Love & Light
If I may jump in for just a note, and not in opposition to the use of the word 'God'. Nor in opposition to what you said, for it is quite True. In specific Communities, such as the Christian Communities for example, the use of the word God by everyone has no real negative impact on the members of the Community because for the most part all members have very similar views on what the word means to everyone. This can be applied to any specific Community such as a Buddhist Community or Muslim Community or whatever Community. Everyone uses the word in these specific Communities and everyone holds reasonably similar views as to what any given person is indicating when using the word. The same would apply to Communities using the word 'Goddess'. But in an open Community, where all schools of thought are welcome, where may be found Christian and Buddhist and Muslim and most any other school of thought, use of certain words associated with particular belief systems can set up conflict and discomfort between the members of the Community.
So it would seem that the question really is, knowing the fact that any schools of thought are represented in a Community, and since the Community is not to proselytize, 'why provoke misunderstanding and/or conflict by the use of certain words ?' Not that every time we use certain words reactions would be provoked, but *preaching* would. I would say that most prefer just people getting together with other people, Sharing and Helping and being Helped by just other people.
It sort of ties in with the discussion of late about Communication. If we really want to Communicate, if we really want to Share and Help, and not preach, we will use words that others will Listen to rather than perhaps the ones we may want to use. That is, we can not Help a Buddhist to Wake-Up by telling him that Jesus is his Savior (as example only). You see, we are here simply to Help each other Wake-Up and not convince each other of some belief system. Which is not to say that anyone is trying to, including you, but rather a point of clarification. Words in themselves have no real impetus, but they can and have started some major wars and strife in the world because the use of the same word by different people meaning different things sat up a conflict.
There is no "Highest Truth", but rather simply Truth. When we look for God outside ourself we only find a belief system, a dogma, a confinement to a conditioned perception. When we go Within to look for ourself we find God. So though the word 'God' is not often used, God is often mentioned here because the Work Within is often shared. That Work being the Awakening from concepts and beliefs and conditioned ideas and images and meanings and notions of all sorts. So God is not about religion or dogma or belief systems or conditioned notions of any sort, but rather about "know thyself". Which, I would say, seems to be the predominant theme here -- Know Thyself. For once we Realize who we ARE, speculation as to what everything else is falls by the wayside.
Opinions are like butts -- everyone has one, much crap is dispensed by them, and the best thing we can do with them is to sit on them. I offer no opinions my Friend, I only offer which is so. And only Pointers at that, for those who have the Eyes to See and the Ears to Hear.
To Understand we must Understand thyself, to know we must know thyself, to Realize we must Realize our own Pure True Nature. For it is our own Pure unconditioned True Nature that is Awakening. To Dwell WithIN our Pure True Nature is to Dwell WithIN Awakening. When we do not Understand, when we do not know, when we do not Realize our Pure True Nature, we can not Understand or know or Realize Awakening. And so it is an exercise in futility to *think* about the un-Understandable or the un-knowable or the un-Realizable, for it is but conditioned dualistic drivel.
So indeed, to Truly Understand anything we must FIRST understand our own True Nature. That is, to Understand the conditioned programmed controlled manipulated automatons (robots) that we are, and do something to rectify that malady. THEN and only THEN can we Understand our negativeness and shortcomings of fears and greed and selfishness and all sorts of vileness. That is, let go of the Causes of our Suffering.
Rationalizing is a product of the conditioned programmed controlled manipulated mind, so Awakening we can rationalize notion. We must See What-IS AS it IS, and not what we project into/onto whatever. So if you Seek Awakening, "ride boldly ride, the shade replied, if you seek for Eldorado".
I said that Awakening is about BEing. The Meditative Sate of Mind, Self-Observation, Self-Remembering, Self-Actualization, Self-Realization is a way of Life each Moment from Moment to Moment, and manifesting the Meditative Sate of Mind, Self-Observation, Self-Remembering, Self-Actualization, Self-Realization in every aspect of our life. That is, no matter what we do be totally absorbed in it. Teaching, our total BEing is absorbed in the teaching regardless of what we are teaching. Eating or walking or sitting or doing the dishes, our total BEing is absorbed in the eating or walking or sitting or doing the dishes. When we ARE The Meditative Sate of Mind, Self-Observation, Self-Remembering, Self-Actualization, Self-Realization we reflect it in everything we do or say or think.
It is a three step process of 1) watch them, 2) as we watch them we understand them, and 3) as we understand them we let them go.
Too often we try to fashion Awakening to our own conditioned modus operandi, that is why people do not start Awakening. Many enter the study but few attain anything because they think they can change the rules of the study to their liking. As a teacher, you know that the student can not do this or the study will not be fruitful. On the contrary, we must fashion our modus operandi to Awakening, for that is the only way we will start Awakening. We must surrender to Awakening and not expect Awakening to surrender to us. It is a three step process of 1) watch them, 2) as we watch them we understand them, and 3) as we understand them we let them go.
I may be blinded by your eloquent offering but I see no dilemma. For if there is but one thing that is Changeless it is Change, if there is but one thing that is Permanent it is Impermanence, if there is but one thing that is Secure it is Insecurity, if there is but one thing that is Known it is Unknowing.
When both are Awakening, when neither are Sleeping, when conditioned ideas and images and meanings and all sorts of notions are not an influence, "compromise" is non-existent.
When both are Awakening, when neither are Sleeping, when conditioned ideas and images and meanings and all sorts of notions are not an influence, "giving in to conditions or standards given by another" is non-existent.
When both are Awakening, when neither are Sleeping, when conditioned ideas and images and meanings and all sorts of notions are not an influence, both ARE and so a compliment to each other's BEing. Both ARE Compassion, both ARE Unconditional Love, both ARE enabling the other to BE.
We are all *Rays Of Light* Wonderful Friend, but we fail to Recognize it. Clear the clutter of the mind, Silence it's chatter, and Listen......... to your Essence, Look.......... at the glimmer of Light that you ARE. Only IN the Silence of mind can we Hear, only IN the Void of mind can we See, only IN Awakening from mind can we BE that *Ray Of Light* that we ARE. It has been said, "be a Lamp unto thyself" and the Wonders you Light up will be Awesome. Others can Point to the Path but we ourself must Walk the Way, and we ourself must Light that Journey.

Could be that they are not directing any negative energy toward you in particular, that they emanate negative energy and you notice it when you are around them and *think* that it is toward you. A bit arrogant, I would say, that you *think* that those you come in contact with is either for YOU or against YOU. Perhaps you are an innocent bystander who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Such negativity generally repels people and either encourages them to react or run. BUT, if you were up to the *challenge*, affronting negativity with Compassion and Love and Understanding and Empathy and GoodWill is rich ground for Working on Unfolding your own Awakening.
Hurt ? You are still *there* ? Catch up to the Moment Dear Friend, before you miss all of them. As long as you are *there*, you can not be *Here* NOW. *Catch The Wave* before the Sea gets calm.
As long as you know that you are not emanating a negative energy but rather a quality of energy that is Compassion and Love and all Positive, and regardless whether you react or run, you are returning the energy that they emanate. Are you not ? BUT, if you take up the challenge and *respond* with the energy of Compassion and Live and Understanding and GoodWill that you ARE, it will weaken the wall of negativity that they surround themselves with. The Key is not to reflect their energy back to them but rather emanate your own. May I offer: not to think of Life in terms of "me or them", for in essence you are them as they are you. May I further offer the last words of a Supreme Awakening Master Magi of yore which echoes in the words of many other Awakening Sages and rings in my ears always: "Abandon Concepts, Realize All-Encompassing Emptiness, and dissolve All Duality !".
Perhaps toward some you emanate positive energy and others no energy and other negative energy. Sleeping, we have likes and dislikes and place different values on different people and so we react or respond to them differently. Awakening, all people are people and there is no real distinction between them other than some need more Help and Service than others.
Do you not have enough burdens of your own, that you have to take on the burdens of others ? They won ! For you see, by reacting with negativity to negativity those emanating negativity drug you into their negative realm and so won you over to negativity. On the other hand, if you were to respond with Compassion and Understanding and Love to negativity, you would be breaking down their negativity and winning them over to the more positive perception. There is a lot of negativity out there, but by Saving ourselves from such negativity we are taking a step in Saving the world.
It IS your business -- the business of your Awakening. Awakening is very positive, so making it your business to overcome negativity either in yourself or others is very enriching and rewarding. Is Awakening not worth the effort ? Besides, those emanating negativity need your Help and Service to Save themselves.
