Greetings Ye Seekers of Truth and Understanding,
These "Private Postings" are supplemental to all of the other Light Mission endeavors to distribute information to Help in the Unfolding of Inner Awareness -- The Awakening. I hope that you find them helpful and interesting. Dwell on them WithIN and See what Realizations Unfold.

Hold That Moment
It is strange at first, to be totally confused and unknowing -- that is not the way we were programmed. And we trudge on hoping that it will get better. But we are always alone, even in a crowd. And we are always shunned by the crowd. What gets better is that we Realize that the crowd is what we are Free from, and Realizing the folly in and of the crowd, we Realize the Wonder and Beauty of NO-crowd. And we Realize that we can carry on so called normal lives with normal relationships and/or jobs just like the Sleeping world but we do it twice as good as they do. And they wonder how. Then is when we really start enjoying ourselves, because we Realize that we are doing the very same things that we used to do except now we are doing them with very multi-dimensional view of things -- a Whole picture of things. We give everything we do an enriched quality that NOW leads to further Awakening and not to putting people to Sleep. As King Midas, everything we touch has an Awakening quality that awes the Sleeping world. We Realize that to keep everything, we are in Hell and die -- and to let go of everything we are in Heaven and Live. Real Life is NOW Truly Directly Experienced AS it IS. And we Realize things to be so that we did not even consider before. Yes, we Open up a Whole new world -- an unlimited world of Wonder and Unbelief. Yes, we are all by ourselves on this Journey, but a Wondrous Journey it IS. So we say our little piece from time to time (or more often) in the hopes that others who are also Awakening will Recognize us and Journey with us.
Hold that Moment, from Moment to Moment. Very Esoteric, I would say, for it addresses the very core of what is sometimes termed *The Middle Path* or *The Middle Way* or even *Awakening*. Not to be confused with *indecision* or *sitting on the fence*. For The Middle Path is not in not making choices or not taking sides, but rather in Realizing that there is no side to take.
Everyone wants to live well, be happy. When we observe we see that all the accumulated knowledge is the self and it becomes a hindrance to living well. We go in circles running after something we do not know what, and not able to live and love. This understanding brings in conflict too, and we want a solution from the knowledge based second hand living. We want to Wake-Up from the trance of conditioned thinking and behavior. We see that fear is at the very root of our existence and it is miserable. And the root of all fear is the fear of death. We want to be free of fear. We want a solution. As we observe, we conclude that ego is one of the problems, and to live properly is to die from Moment to Moment. So we want psychological death. In a way we trade fear of death for desire of death. We then lose the will to live, and become dull, vegetable.
Is it possible to not want anything, not even death of the ego ? Or do we translate it to wanting "not-wanting" ? Then we are back to square one. Is there a difference between the will to live and fear of death ? It is in the *wanting*, in the clinging to the desire of either, that we are not living in the Moment ?
People have been conditioned to wait for some Messiah to Save them. As I continually say, *No one Saves us but ourselves, no one can and no one may, others can Point to the Path, but we ourselves must Walk the Way*. That is, *WE* are the Messiah that we have been waiting for to Save us. *WE* are responsible for our Salvation. *WE* are the ones who have to start Awakening. *WE* are the ones who have to Openly and Honestly Observe ourselves in the Mirror of Truth. *WE* are the ones who have to Cut away the defilements of our conditioned ideas and images and meanings and notions of all sorts with the Sword of Truth. *WE* are the ones who have to let go of the Causes of our Suffering. When we search for God we find Illusion, and when we search for ourselves we find God.
*A* path, self-ordained paths, organizational paths, conditioned paths, are the paths of the Sleeping. If guided, guided by Sleeping teachers. *The Path* is Realized and/or Recognized when we discard our conditioned notions and the so called paths with them. For then we Realize and/or Recognize that we ARE The Path. Awakening, we Live Life AS it IS for What it IS -- hence Awakening is What-IS. But we can not be Ruled by two Masters, there must BE only One. When we are Ruled by the Grand Trickster our conditioned mind, our projected conditioned ideas and images and meanings, then our servitude is to Sleep. Awakening, we ARE our Master and Realize The Path as our Pure unconditioned state of BEing. The only True Teacher is one who is Awakening, and the only one who can Help and Guide us in our Awakening. The True Teacher is not our Master, but rather our Servant to Help us in our Awakening. So the True Teacher will not offer a path to follow, but rather Help us to Realize The Path of What-IS. Not his path or our path or some organization's path, but The Path of What-IS Truth and Reality. In essence, this is what the statement in the footer below indicates. *The Path is Pathless, though thousands of Routes Journey it. When one embarks upon The Pathless Path he Dwells IN What-IS regardless of the Direct Experience of the Moment from Moment to Moment*.
We are here, I suspect, to let go of the need for our egos to be stroked. We who have the Light are bound to keep it lit and let it Shine. Keeping it under a bushel is selfish on your part. Who cares if anyone listens, they hear whether they listen or not. We Learn by Opening up and Truly Listening -- we can not Learn much or Hear much or Listen much is we are always blabbing. So, keep your Light under a bushel if you wish, *assuming* that no one is listening anyway, and horde it for yourself, *thinking* perhaps that someone will steal it or blow it out.
Let the Light Shine -- even if no one sees it at least you can say to yourself that you Held your Light for all to See if they were so inclined to do so. We can lead a horse to water but we can not force him to drink, but we do have to show him the water if we know where it is. Otherwise it would be very selfish of us -- and thereby very Sleeping of us.
Humans are not carnivores. Before the last ice age humans only eat fruits and berries and roots and plants. The ice age cut off our food supply so we starved by the billions. In desperation, we eat each other. But we soon realized that such a practice would eventually eliminate others from helping us survive. So we looked to the only other food source there was, and that was the animals we used to lighten our burdens. When they were gone we looked to the wild beasts. It worked, it kept us alive. Through many generations and much migration, our eating habits of the days before the ice age were lost. So when we found areas not effected and when the frozen tundra was able to support plant life again, we did not know that it was the dawning of us getting back to our original food source. We were conditioned to believe that meat eating was what we did. There has been much written in this area of our physiology being opposed to meat eating, so I will not go into because it is readily available if one wants to investigate it. Just wanted to tell you *how it was*.
Eating animals will sustain our lives, that is not at question. Neither is it a so called moral issue, as some make out. The real problem with consuming animal fats is that it does not blend with the body's energy and therefore impede the activities of the body's energy centers or chakras. We should not go to the next kingdom below us (the animal kingdom) for our food source -- we have to stay at least two kingdoms away from our own. Kingdoms indicating the level of complexity in the various levels of manifested form. Otherwise our own form (body) will not function as it is intended to do. It is like incest, if we procreate with others to close to our bloodline there will be deformities and problems. Likewise, if the kingdom that we use for our food source is to close to our own kingdom we will have the inability to Awaken and have problems. Have you ever hear of a Wise Sage who was not vegetarian ? Think about it. Are the Peace makers carnivores ? Or the War mongers ? Is it any wonder that there is so much conflict in the world ? It is well known that the more vegetarian countries are more peaceful than the meat eating countries. Have you not wondered why ? Kind of obvious, I would say.
Each morning is the start of the first day of the rest of our life, that is not beautiful ? Is not What-IS beautiful ? Even in it's ugliness and pain and sorrow and suffering, True Life is a most Wondrous event. As we stand in awe, embracing What-IS, whatever IS, we Realize that it is our projecting of conditioned ideas and images and meanings into/onto What-IS that makes is *appear* what it *seems* *to us*. We Realize that nothing is inherently good or bad or beautiful or ugly, it simply IS AS it IS -- it is that Realization that is Good and Beautiful. So not all of life is good and beautiful, but rather the Wonder of What-IS -- which is Good and Beautiful.
As Awakening is IN the space between the thoughts, so too is Understanding IN the space between the words. We can not be Awakening dwelling on thoughts, as we can not be Understanding dwelling on words.
The morning is anew each morning, as the Moment is anew each Moment. We must die each Moment and Awaken anew each Moment, to Crucify the past and Resurrect in the present. So when we discard our interpretation of this start of the rest of our lives and embrace it AS it IS, is that not an Awesome Wondrous event ? Is not such Awesome Wonder Beautiful ? There seems to be no Wonder or Awe or Beauty when interpreting which side of the bed we get up on any given day.
Vows that I speak of are not vows to another or to an organization but rather the Ultimate Commitment to oneself. The Vow that you made to and with ourself, is a very good example of the Vows I have spoken of. By the way, Jesus said not to take vows or make contracts with another and not simply not to take Vows. For he always stressed that our Commitment or Vow to Awakening must be Total to and with ourselves -- THAT is the Vows that I speak of, and they are not vows or contracts with another but rather to and with ourselves.
We, in our Sleeping modus operandi, use the word *vow* so loosely that what it actually amounts to is a *wishful wish* and nothing more -- though we are conditioned to translate it otherwise. It is only when you make the Total Commitment to and with yourself, not for peer pressure or some resolution. You know that the mind is awesomely strong and powerful because you know what a task it is to wrench your conditioned notions from it. Likewise, it is as strong and powerful when you make the Total Commitment (Vow). Sleeping, we *say* all sorts of things and are not Committed enough to honor what we say. Awakening, what we say is the Law that we Live by. If it is worth saying, it is worth Living.
Rather, such Vows of which I speak are at a Deeper level than the superficial Sleeping level. For Awakening, there is but One level and that level is Deep. Only in duality, only in Sleeping, do we find deep/shallow or right/wrong or higher/lower or good/bad or this/that. But there is more to such Vows of which I speak. Such Vows, such Total Commitment, is more of a Price that is demanded by our own convictions for the opportunity of continuing our Awakening. It has been said that the credit card we use to Pay this Price is our Soul -- so to not Pay the Debt would mean a Foreclosure on our Awakening and the Bankruptcy of our Soul. If we do not want to Pay the Minstrel, we can not Hear the Tune. Vows, Total Commitment, not made with another and no price demanded by another, but made with and to ourselves so demanded by ourselves. We are our own worst adversary and also our own greatest of allies -- we have the power to remain Sleeping and the power to start Awakening. So it is all a question of Sleeping or Awakening.
It IS Awakening, and the task at hand is making it last a lifetime each Moment from Moment to Moment. It is not only seeing what you look at, but Seeing in a 180 degree periphery as well -- the Whole Picture. It is not only hearing what you are listening to, but Hearing at every frequency at the same time -- the Whole Attention. It is Embracing What-IS our Direct Experience IN the Moment without projecting our conditioned notions into/onto that Direct Experience -- the Whole Experience AS it IS. It is likened to waking up to the sun rise at an eastern oceanside. Or being drawn into the setting sun at a western seashore. It is likened to soaring through space above the clouds in the Silence of traveling faster than the speed of sound, reaching with Inner Hand and Touching the Face of God.
All we can do is Point, and hope that they are not intoxicated by staring at our finger. Sure, a 2x4 up along side the head may cause a shock and breaks their stair at our finger but even that does not break the old habit of finger watching (they Fear getting poked).
As Namaste is to say *may the Divine Essence IN me Embrace the Divine Essence IN you as a Divine Essence of One*, so too Metta is to say *may the Loving Kindness IN me Embrace the Loving Kindness IN you as Loving Kindness of One*, so too Zikr is to say *may the Self Remembering IN me Embrace the Self Remembering IN you as a Self Remembrance of One*. So *may the True Nature IN me Embrace the True Nature IN you as a True Nature of One*. It is in the Inner Embracing of each other that we Realize that we are all cut from the same bolt of cloth yet most do not Realize it yet.

Responding to the Moment is not removing ourselves from every day life, it is doing what must be done IN the Moment AT the Moment. Going off to a Hermitage or Retreat is the easy way of attaining Freedom, Awakening while still conducting our lives in the every day rat race of society is a test of our metal, and a test whether our Awakening is True.
Stuck ? Fear of becoming blank ? IN the Silence we Hear, IN the Void we See, IN Awakening we ARE. What makes you think that you can know the experience of the next Moment until you Directly Experience it ? You are stuck to your conditioned notions, for the future is no more real than the past. What conditioned notion have you let go of ? Truly Openly Honestly Observe yourself and answer that question to yourself without projecting any conditioned ideas or images or meanings into/onto that Observation. IF you can do THAT, you will have the solution to your dilemma.
And perhaps you will Realize this Freedom. But it takes a certain effort. An effort to rid yourself of the clutter that gets in the way of Aloneness. Get rid of the trees that hide the forrest. It is natural, we are alone. Until we are conditioned to the otherwise, we are perfectly content in our Aloneness. Look at the new born Guru, though it does clamber for attention and nurturing, we can tell by looking into it's eyes that it knows that it is alone and loves every minute of it. It is not attached, not even to the mother until the need of familiarity sets in. We are conditioned to think we need this familiarity, hence when we do not have it we feel lonely. Our thinking is fogged and so we do not realize that we were alone in the first place and that is the state we must get back to. The little Guru is closer to the Divine or Infinite that us conditioned adults, for it just came from there. Observe the little Guru, and ponder your observations. It is in Self-Realization, it is in Self-Actualization, it is in Awakening.
IN the present, IN the Moment, there is only What-IS at hand. To embrace the present Moment anew we can not project anything into/onto that Direct Experience. Is not a belief a projection of something we *think* is so ? There is no time to *think* IN the Moment, the present, there is only time to BE and embrace What-IS as it IS. We did not acquire a belief while IN the present Moment for each Moment is anew, we acquired it IN a past Moment and we cling to it trying to carry it forward into the present Moment. As the old saying goes, "you can't take it with you".
