The fragrant temple at the foot Of the eastern mountain Hides in mystery, Amid smoke and flowers, Remote from this dusty world. At dusk, a lone lamp flickers Before ranges of shadowy mountains. Parting the curtains In the temple, I see The fall weather of Fall Lakes; On the walls around me, I see flying geese That remain after their season. Through windows, I see Constellations slumbering Near the horizon. Strange how this scene Makes me think Heaven is closer. In my dreams, I travel With the white clouds. -- Sun Di
